About Me
Hi, I’m Anne!
I’m an eclectic mix of developmental editor, writer, and historian. Besides reading, you’ll hear me talking about my love of baking, traveling, and animals (especially dogs and ferrets!). I’ve worked in museums, archives, and independent bookstores- where I’ve gotten to meet a wide range of authors!
I’m a huge history fan and studied history for my undergrad degree before getting my graduate degree in Library Science and Archives. This led me on an 8 year adventure to a little town in southern California to help build a museum and establish a research archive. That’s where I met Harry Casey and became his co-author and editor on Geoglyphs of the Desert Southwest . And I became hooked on the magic of working with writers to help them see their books become reality! During the pandemic I became a graduate of Edit Republic, and I’ve been working with writers ever since.
For me, the best part of editing is collaborating with incredible writers (not to mention getting a sneak peek at their stories before publication!). Also, getting to have my dog with me all the time. Because it’s always more fun working with your dog at your side!
